I love looking through old photos.
For one -
I have a horrible memory and photos help to bring these memories back.
For two -
Most of the time an old photo can bring forth a little chuckle when you see the way you dressed, looked, or styled your hair in the past.
One of my personal favorite old photos is of me standing with my grandparents in our old kitchen, proudly showing off a wide smile of missing teeth, a head full of frizzy curls and sporting my all time favorite outfit…
fluorescent orange M.C. Hammer pants
with a huge stretchy black belt. I know I had to wear those things at least 3 times a week.
I do think though, that the best part of looking through old photographs is that they
tell a story…
A story of your roots, of where you came from and how far you have come along the way.
The photos below were taken over 7 years ago when this business was still in its earlier stages. I love how the snapshots exude the essence of joy in labor. I can imagine that this brick paver project was HUGE for them…you can practically see the pride in their smiles. It is crazy to reflect on how far our lives and this business have come since this time. There is even more to be proud of now. We have so much to be thankful for.
PS – Are the guys stylin’ or what? High boots and short shorts.
Some things never change!
Happy Labor Day Weekend!

I want to see that old picture of YOU!
